History

Headquartered in Palm Desert, California, STATOLOGY was founded in 1993 by Dr. Janice M. Pogoda after receiving a PhD in Biometry from the University of Southern California.

STATOLOGY services clients from California to New York who are academic researchers, pharmaceutical companies, contract research organizations who outsource their data-related needs, or private individuals conducting their own research.

Past or current projects include pharmaceutical clinical trials, tuberculosis detection and transmission, therapeutic and cosmetic applications of botulinum toxin, studies of oral health, and epidemiologic studies of brain tumor, leukemia, and electromagnetic fields.

Dr. Pogoda has authored or co-authored over 50 articles in peer-reviewed journals as a result of STATOLOGY's work in these fields of research.

Dr. Pogoda is not only the founder of STATOLOGY but is also the primary service provider and is personally involved in every project.  Because of this, STATOLOGY's clientele enjoy customized, detailed attention in areas such as consultation, application of statistical methods, SAS programming, data management, and technical writing.
